If the cameras are IP and you want one cable per camera, yes. The important part is the PoE budget, because a switch that lists PoE may not power every port at once.

The supply side of the network we already build
We design and install structured cabling, switching and Wi-Fi. This page is the hardware side of the same work, for customers who want the equipment supplied whether or not we install it.
What we supply
- Routers, PoE and LAN switches. Specified with the PoE budget your cameras and access points actually draw, not just the port count.
- NAS and storage. Sized for footage retention, file shares and backup, which are three different calculations.
- Peripherals and accessories. Keyboards, mice, cables, converters, adaptors, software and anti-virus licensing.
Why the PoE budget matters
The most common specification error we correct is a switch chosen on port count alone. Sixteen ports that can power eight cameras is not a sixteen-camera switch. If the switch is feeding CCTV or wireless access points, the power budget is the number that counts.
